Nothing beats watching football with your favourite pals and cheering on the team that you support. It’s Saturday night and you wouldn’t be anywhere else in the world than in that stuffy stadium, clapping with your friends and eating… Campbell’s soup? Yes, you heart it right; Campbell has a new line of soups that would guarantee to make you scream and cry with joy.

The modern day has given away many opportunities for ease and convenience in our lives. Gone were the days when we had to use our mental capabilities to solve equations. Now with just a simple click of our finger, we could not only solve mathematical problems, but also look up almost anything there is in the world. If we wanted to travel to someplace else, we don’t need to travel through land for days. In a few hours through riding a plane, we could already be in another country. And if you wanted to drink tomato juice, you don’t need to get fresh tomatoes and squeeze them out because that’s what Campbell’s is for.

Campbell has been around for ages, specifically, almost 150 years. It’s one of the leading brands when it comes to producing preserved or canned products. Its specialty is more focused with soups but it has been branching out to other products recently. You might even be familiar with its famous tomato juice and drink it regularly.

Now it seems that the company is expanding its product line once again. The new line called Chunky Soups has taken the soup world by a storm. The Chunky Soups were designed to appeal to men especially during football season. This is probably because Campbell’s is the official sponsor of NFL. The product line-up has three new pub food-inspired flavours, namely the Hearty Cheeseburger, Philly-Style Cheesesteak, and Spicy Chicken Quesadilla. We can only hope that this would become the new Campbell’s chunky soup diet, although that still stands to be questionable.

Hearty Cheeseburger for example, has a really weird colour that might be off-putting to some people. The neon yellow coloured soup paired with its salty taste doesn’t sit well with the whole diet plan. Not to mention that according to reviews, the cheesiness tastes extremely artificial. At least we can actually see some meat and sausages.

As for the Philly-Style Cheesesteak, well we can’t taste any cheesesteak flavour in it and it tastes a bit bitter probably because of the green peppers. The flavour is so-so and just like Hearty; it doesn’t leave a very strong impression.

Spicy Chicken Quesadilla is a bit different though. The flavour is acceptable although not everyone can agree to this. The taste is very Mexican-ish but sadly, the exoticness wasn’t able to pull through.

If anyone thinks that Campbell’s chunky soup diet would be the next it, then that would be quite difficult to pull through. For one, it doesn’t belong to the healthy product-line soups that have reduced sodium contents.
